their cupcakes are great but it’s very disappointing when i make a long trip to their store only to find it closed during opening hours! without notice!!! i tried calling many times and texted them because it was urgent, they turned off their phone suddenly instead of sending simply sending a short message informing me whether they will open soon (so i’ll inconveniently wait) or it’ll be a while (so i’ll just leave!).

A cualquiera que lo pruebe le gusta seguro. Todos los sabores estan increibles aunque antes tenian mas sabores que echo en falta como el de arandanos. Recomiendo comprar una caja y llevarte surtidos alguna cena los puedes probar con amigos.

BEWARE OF HOW MUCH THEY CHARGE YOU - I paid €16,5 for a glass of cava + cupcake (€9) and one cupcake (€4,5) which should’ve been €13,5. Everyone can make a mistake, but €3 is almost a whole other cupcake… I should’ve brought it up, but only realized it after I left. All I can do now is to warn others to double check before paying!!!

The service, friendly and correct. It's a shame that you can't order your snack in your own language, which is the language of the country where the business is located. I ordered a cake from their website, it was totally different than the one I ordered from website. Also over-priced and low quality.

Amanda and the team at La Cava turned an online purchase of the cupcake and cava tasting into a lovely birthday experience. For my daughter and her friend. I reached out online to get some details of the reservation I did on line and Amanda made sure her visit was a personal experience with a customer sign wishing her a happy birthday. They took care of her with extra attention that was so thoughtful. I am told the cupcakes were so cool as was the cava. So good she returned for more the next day and has plans to gift the same tasting for her friend’s birthday. What a unique way to spoil someone on their birthday or to spoil yourself! Thank you Amanda! I will definitely come by to thank you when I am in Barcelona.

Had an amazing time celebrating my friend’s 30th birthday here. Such a cute and aesthetic atmosphere. I can tell a lot of love was put into this establishment. The vanilla red rose and salted caramel cupcakes were my favorite!! ❤️

We had the most beautiful and unforgettable experience celebrating our wedding at La Cava Celebration. Our celebration was small and intimate, just 11 people, and the team at La Cava Celebration made it feel absolutely perfect. They created such a warm and welcoming space for us and our families. It felt personal, special, and full of love. The atmosphere was stunning and truly set the stage for an unforgettable day. They even played music for us, which allowed me to dance with my husband, my dad, and for my husband to dance with his mom. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious, and everything they provided fit so well within our budget. The booking process was super easy, and they took care of everything, which allowed us to simply enjoy the day stress-free. One of the highlights was the cava tree, with champagne glasses and sparkling lights (like little fireworks). It added a wonderful, celebratory touch that made the evening feel extra special. We are so grateful to La Cava Celebration for making our wedding day intimate, emotive, and simply perfect. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking for a beautiful space to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.

I came here for my 26th birthday. It was such a lovely experiencing. Amanda made me feel SO SO special for my day! I would definitely recommend coming here for your birthday! I did the cupcake and cava pairing - my friend does not drink alcohol so she was able to get a non alcoholic beverage that pairs with the cupcakes just as well! Good music and great vibes, even if it’s not your birthday you should stop by and get a yummy cupcake! The red velvet was my favorite out of the 4 I tried. 💖Amanda you were great and one of the sweetest people I have ever met! We appreciate you!

We were walking today and stumbled upon this lovely looking place. The cupcakes on display looked simply irresistible. We came in and were greeted by this lovely lady (I am awful with names but I believe her name was Amanda). She was extremely friendly and kind and helped us choose a cupcake. It is very rare to see people in hospitality do their job with so much love and energy. We also work in the industry so we can really appreciate her. The shop is very beautiful and I hope they continue to thrive and succeed.

What a better combination than cava with cupcakes? Must try!! And they also do workshops, you can be a baker while sipping on cava! 🥂

We organized a bachelorette party for a friend here and it was absolutely amazing! 💕 The bride-to-be loves cava and creative workshops, so we chose the Cupcake Frosting Party — and we totally loved it. The owner is super nice and professional, she even decorated the place with bachelorette party motifs and prepared the perfect playlist to match the vibes. The atmosphere was cozy and fun, the cava delicious 🥂, and the cupcakes… wow! 🧁💖 It was such a unique experience. Totally recommendable for any event, but especially bachelorette parties, baby showers or birthdays.

Hoy Finn , que es un chico muy majo, me recomendó probar el bizcochito sin gluten. Estaba hecho con harina de coco, creo . Estaba delicioso! Pero, además, me atendió con tanta gracia, muy agradable y servicial. Me encanta ver a los jóvenes progresar. First, let me begin by saying it is rare enough to find exemplary customer service even in your own neighborhood, let alone halfway around the world in another country, when you’re just trying to send a birthday surprise to your son studying abroad. I found La Cava Cakery by chance… really because the other local bakeries (I called 3) that were recommended to me by my son’s study abroad program could not accommodate a birthday cake/cupcake delivery without several days’ notice. Their website looked enticing, they had great reviews, but what sealed the deal was when I spoke to Aisling, the owner, who couldn’t be happier to make sure my son received something special for his birthday. As she put it, “that’s why we do what we do… to make people happy.” Besides making him happy she made sure he received some of the most delicious cupcakes he’s ever had, along with a pristine Cava from a winery that is affiliated with them. There was a delivery issue only because of the apartment complex not wanting to receive the delivery (although both Aisling and I had confirmed prior) but that did not stop her… she went above and beyond to make sure he received the surprise. I can’t thank her enough and hope to visit the shop in person for the full experience in the future. I HIGHLY recommend La Cava Cakery! My only regret is to not have been able to taste those cupcakes and cava in person!

A surprising delight around the corner from Sagrada Familia! My son and I stopped into La Cava Cakery on our way to Sagrada Familia. It was such a fun surprise. We each ordered a cupcake – he chose to pair his with a cup of hot chocolate, and I chose a Brut. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our cupcakes – the cake was delicious and the icing was next level. The owner is a delight! She went out of her way to make sure we were warmly welcomed and well taken care of while there. I can't imagine a lovelier stop before seeing Gaudi's incredible work on the cathedral.

After visiting the stunning Sagrada Família, we stopped by La Cava Cakery, just a short walk away for a sweet treat. It was such a cute little spot. Nothing like I’ve been in before and Amanda who served us was so welcoming, it was hard to leave! I would recommend the Rosé Cava paired with the chocolate cupcake. La Cava Cakery is a must-visit spot when in Barcelona!

I have been here twice now. Once in 2023 and then 2025 and the standard still remains extremely high. They produce delicious cupcakes with heavenly icing. My favourite is the red velvet. A lovely treat to bring and sit in the park in front of the Sagradia. The staff are so lovely

NO LO RECOMIENDO Compramos un pastel de cumpleaños, y a parte que era más pequeño de lo que parecía, lo tubimos que tirar porque estaba malo, tenía un sabor amargo y metálico. Cuando llamamos para hacer la reclamación, nos dijeron que esto era imposible, que sus pasteles están siempre buenos. En fin, una experiencia horrible, de principio a fin.

HORRIBLE! El viernes fuimos a buscar un pastel de cumpleaños que encargamos online. Durante la noche cuando entregamos y probamos el pastel en la fiesta de cumpleaños nos dimos cuenta que esta malo. El sabor era muy amargo y con notas metálicas, como si alguno de los ingredientes estuviera pasado o no se hubiera conservado bien. Pague 40€ por un pastel que tuvimos que tirar entero porque teniamos miedo de que nos diera alguna indigestion o que eso nos causara malestar. Fue un fiasco, pues, nos quedamos sin pastel. Nos llevamos un disgusto tremendo!

Literally THE BEST cupcakes I EVER ATE! I always dreamzd of cupcakes like these and… La Cava Cakery really does something different, in a very good way.. Never have I ate or bought cupcakes like these.. it’s crazy and amazing. I went back for some more cupcakes two days after, and the people form the store are so kind en lovely. This place is just great and the owners are so lovely. Having walked in yesterday on our city break, it happened to be my husbands birthday and they made it so special for him. Thank you again! If you are in Barcelona you must take a trip there such a beautiful place and the cakes and cava were amazing.

Love the cupcakes here. The couple who own this place are great. They are so friendly and they do such a great job. We bring friends every time we have visitors! The salted caramel is my favorite but I’ve never had a cupcake here I didn’t love.

Very cute store with exactly what you would expect. Little cupcakes, but they also offer bigger cakes, cava (which is the Spanish champagne), or coffee and instagramable walls. Everything for a nice girls meet-up, Bachelorette party birthday, or just if you like those little super sweet cakes. The service was super friendly and nice.

The best place for cucpakes in Barcelona, they are the perfect size and so delicious! You can also order cakes which are so beautiful too. I tried the Dubai chocolate flavor one and it was so lovely!

Pues a mí me gustó mucho la experiencia, la chica irlandesa muy amable y hace su esfuerzo para hablar español e inglés. El precio es el que te cobrarían igual en cualquier país angloparlante por un cupcake en el centro de una ciudad europea, hay cadenas de pastelerías que te cobran lo mismo por algo industrial, así que siendo casero es más que aceptable. Me encanta el “vibe” que tiene el lugar y los cupcakes están muy buenos y el café también. Well done!

This place did not disappoint!! The cupcakes were amazing but most of all the employee, Amanda, was the absolute highlight of the place. She was very attentive and kind to every single client. We had mentioned to her it was my birthday (but didn’t reserve the birthday deal) and she made it special! Truly go for the ambiance and not just the cupcakes!

We search Barcelona for 6 days until we found this wonderful place!! The cupcakes are absolutely outstanding!! Great flavors, moist, and tasty Cava!!! You cannot ask for much more!! And a the perfect location right outside of the Verdaguer L4/L5 metro lines. I recommend this place to everyone!!!

I absolutely loved this place! I ordered this for a birthday on delivery yesterday and it was so good we decided to find the store when we were roaming around in Barcelona! The owners are really great they even sang happy birthday and got candles and a sign when they heard our story. Do yourself a favor and visit this store, the cupcakes and cava are to die for!

Des was super helpful with facilitating the cake delivery which was complicated for me trying to coordinate from the other side of the world but they were extremely accomodating and went above and beyond to make it all come together!

It was my 4 year old birthday, we were vising Barcelona, we just walked in and the owner made her birthday so special with candles, balloons, it brought me to tears. I highly recommend this beautiful, cozy place🙌❤️

I tried La Cava Cakery after my husband tried them at work! Wow… they are so delicious, the sponge is light and super tasty. The buttercream is creamy and not too sweet. There are so many flavours to choose from, chocolate is my favourite so far! But the pistachio, salted caramel and red velvet are also so yummy too! The staff are all really friendly and helpful, I’ve had the pleasure of being served by the lovely Amanda everytime I’ve visited. She is always happy to help me choose my flavour and help me with my questions. I will definitely be back to try more flavours in the future!

We celebrated my little girls first birthday in La Cava Cakery. Amanda the server was fantastic and she really went out of her way to make the occasion special! She suggested we have the cava to pair with the cupcakes and it was delicious. Great food, great service and great atmosphere👌

Absolutely amazing! We stumbled across this shop by accident a few years ago and were immediately intrigued. Not only is the location beautiful, the cupcakes and cava are delicious and the staff is extremely kind. We've been talking about it since and decided to come back to visit Barcelona because of this shop. I wish they would open one in Geneva! Highly recommend.

Amazing! I couldn’t decide which cake to eat so he offered a taster for one and for me to buy another (I got to try the birthday and eat the pistachio - would highly recommend!) It was a great atmosphere we got to sit and relax and eat some cakes while enjoying some good music after a long day of walking. I would highly recommend this place and their cakes!!

I ordered a cake and cupcakes from La Cava Cakery for a birthday celebration, and they were absolutely amazing! The red velvet cake was so beautifully decorated and delicious!! Everyone LOVED the cupcakes too, such a great variety of flavors which makes them unique. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into their baking. I’ll definitely be coming back for future celebrations! Or just to have a cupcake and cava with friends :) Such a great concept!
