Rude guy at the entrance, who asked us to leave if we are not planning to eat there as it's a private parking. We were planning to eat there but the attitude made us change our mind. Edit : after your reply saying I became aggressive, when actually I didn't say anything and just left with the car. Therefore in addition to be rude, you are a lier...

Woohoo! relax 😀 you were only caught parking illegally! But I'll explain again. This is a common event in the village on market day especially. I have checked the security video. You ignored the 7 large warning signs, parked and walked away to the market. That is not allowed, whether you intended to return later or not. It is the same principle as parking in areas designated for the disabled, farmacias etc. Our conscience knows its wrong so we don't do it. As soon as a customer, parks and leaves the premises, the centro comercial managment consider that vehicle illegally parked. Its monitored by cameras and The police will tow it away. We advise you but we have no control to stop the Grua when they arrive. You are ostensibly stealing spaces from the businesses in the centro comercial. Not only us but also for the veterinary surgery that needs space for emergencies. What is most sad is that a full days officially monitored parking in the village is 2€ Sunday is such a crazy day with the market, and parking is so cheap. All day the Gruas are operating in the village removing cars that are parked illegally. In private car parks, across driveways, on chevroned zones etc. 90% of those are rental vehicles. Trying to save on parking fees. All those cars are taken to a secure location. I don't even know how much the fine is. We advised you, you felt entitled enough to argue. But at the end of the day, even if you had to stretch to paying 2€ elsewhere, our informing you meant you still had a car to drive home in.

A sweet little bakery right next to the main road. The two guys are amazingly friendly and will make your stay very enjoyable. Coffee is really good and the freshly and self baked cakes are very tasty. Try the chocolate one, you will be amazed, like me. Thank you and see you next time. 😀

What an amazing experience! I’ve been following Jonnie for a while now in anticipation of our recent visit and I can only say I was blown away with the quality of the baked goods. Jonnie is so friendly and accommodating. We visited the first time and then revisited with friends a few days later. Jonnie let me place a large order which he put aside for me to ensure it didn’t all sell out before we got there. The food is so fresh and tasty, the atmosphere and welcome is an added bonus! Please visit and support this artisan bakery, it is certainly worth the visit. Don’t go too late or it will be all be sold out, which shows its popularity. Beautiful experience before our day in the market in Teguise. Food was absolutely amazing, we got sausage rolls and a cinnamon swirl which were unreal, Coffee was beautiful and the two staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

Popped in while at the busy market for a rest, and what a jewel it is!! Nice, fresh atmosphere with beautiful cakes. Would highly recommend and will be back when on holiday again next time

Pretty standard coffee at specialty coffee prices, “Greggs” sausage roll type. If you are missing Greggs, this is your place in Lanzarote but bear in mind the it is a bit overpriced.

Certainly, the restrooms are designated for the use of our patrons. Particularly on Fridays through Sundays, when the village experiences interruptions in its main water supply. Water restrictions have been in effect on the island for a couple of years, and water for flushing is limited. Therefore, staff members are instructed to ensure that our facilities are being utilized by customers and not the general public. This is similar to practices in your home country, where access to restrooms is sometimes indicated on receipts. Regrettably, the management company has not yet implemented such a system.

Fantastic place! Conveniently located on the edge of Teguise centre, with parking, outdoor seating and indoors too within the cute surroundings of the bakery. Go early to enjoy the best selection of pastries and cakes, everything we tried was absolutely delicious! This was our second visit, we went for breakfast and took lunch away with us too. The owners are wonderful, friendly, kind and very welcoming. It’s a must-visit place on the island

Found this place by mistake but what a find… the muffins were so nice, and the guys who have the place are like a comedy double act, hinge and bracket almost. Loved it such a cute cafe with awesome bakes and perfect coffee.

It is peculiar that you mentioned returning for a second visit and enjoying it enough to do so, yet the circumstances appear to be somewhat different. It seems the intention was to secure free parking for your convenience while attending to other matters. This involved, firstly, occupying a parking space intended for genuine customers and, secondly, seemingly avoiding the cost of two euros for a full day's parking available nearby. I regret that you may have overlooked the seven prominent "no parking" signs. Furthermore, it has been reported that you informed the building manager of your intention to park as you pleased and employed inappropriate language while your companion was engaged in shopping elsewhere. On Sundays, we do not have the authority to manage the removal of illegally parked vehicles within the village. Had your vehicle been removed, we would have been unable to provide assistance. Therefore, it seems your review may be an attempt to conceal your embarrassment following the incident and the subsequent reprimand. By utilizing parking spaces designated for a company, you are potentially depriving them of potential customers. Additionally, this action may also impact the livelihoods of those who operate official car parks. It is unfortunate, as two euros is a modest sum to pay for demonstrating respect and consideration.

Primera vez que entro en este sitio a pesar de ser de Teguise y me pareció un lugar perfecto para desayunar tanto dentro como fuera,atendido por unos camareros muy amables,desayuné un café ☕️ con leche muy rico acompañado con una especie de hojaldre relleno de solomillo muy 😋 rico precio asequible ha zona de aparcamiento ambiente tranquilo vista a la torre de Teguise recomiendo además volveré porque tengo que 🤔 probar otras cosas que 🤔 me entraban por los ojos 😚 haber que 🤔 tal buena pinta tenía todo jaja.

Amazing pastries made with lots of care in a lovely bakery! We tried the Cornish pasty and lava cake - both are absolutely delicious. The first time we went, the lava cakes were all sold out but Jonnie was kind enough to reserve one for us for the next day.

Nada de otro mundo, había leído reseñas hablando maravillas del rollo de canela y de los muffins pero me parecieron bastante normalitos y de precio bastante caro. Además no tiene mucho hueco dentro por lo que es difícil sentarse.

A hidden gem on the island. One of the guys behind the counter (Jonnie I assume) is wonderful, so friendly and obliging. Good, hot coffee - anything you want. And the muffins, well they are a delight. Very reasonably priced. If you have a car, definitely worth a visit.

What a gourgous bakery, out of this world freshly baked bread, especialy the brown seed bread. The Choclate orange muffins were delicious. We went everyday the store was open. Please go and find this bakery, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve never experienced such kind service anywhere before. You can truly see they love what they do. The coffee was delicious. We also had a chocolate croissant – simply divine! I highly recommend stopping by at least for breakfast, you won’t regret it. Oh, and the older gentleman has such an amazing style!

Hier lohnt es sich zu 100% zu halten wir haben hier gestern einen kleinen zwischenstopp gemacht und können es nur empfehlen. Die Muffins sind ein Traum 😌, alles andere ist aber auch sehr lecker ❤️. Was wir außerdem betonen wollen ist ein Mensch der so freundlich , herzlich und offen ist das man denkt warum können nicht mehr Menschen einem einen ein so gutes positives Gefühl vermitteln. Hemos estado esta mañana desayunando y tanto la comida como el trato es exquisito. El rollo de canela es increíble y el muffins de limón, si te gusta mucho el limón como a mi, espectacular. Agradabilisimos los chicos que nos han atendido. Puede que pasemos de nuevo para probar más muffins, ya que tienen muchos tipos y todo casero y del día.

Fuimos algo tarde, así que ya no quedaban muchas opciones disponibles… ¡y eso ya dice mucho de lo buena que debe estar toda la pastelería! Aun así, tuvimos la suerte de probar una cookie de chocolate blanco y arándanos que estaba espectacular: crujiente por fuera, suave por dentro y con un equilibrio perfecto entre el dulzor del chocolate y el toque ácido del arándano. Sin duda, volveremos más temprano para probar el resto de sus delicias. ¡Muy recomendable!

Gli avrei dato 4 stelle se non fosse per la maleducazione e i modi sgarbati di uno delle due persone che erano dietro al banco. Sono entrata ed il luogo era così carino che ho fatto una foto. Mi sono accorta dopo che era vietato ma questo avviso era visibile solo al banco mentre dovrebbe essere messo all'ingresso. Mi sono scusata ed infatti l'altro signore, che era molto gentile, ha capito, l'altro ha continuato invece ad essere indisponente, gli ho chiesto lo zucchero e c'è mancato poco che me lo lanciasse addosso. Peccato perché il posto è molto carino ed i prodotti buoni. Ho ricevuto una risposta dai gestori che non c'entra nulla con la mia recensione, non ho contestato il divieto a fare foto ma l'atteggiamento della persona dietro al banco, io quando mi sono accorta di avere sbagliato ho chiesto scusa e nonostante ciò uno dei titolari ha continuato ad essere indisponente nei nostri confronti.

Due to data protection laws, it is, in essence, unlawful to photograph anyone within a private space without the consent of both the owner and all individuals who may appear in the photographs. As you are aware, posting these photographs on social media without the subjects' permission could result in requests for removal or even legal action. I sincerely apologize if you were offended. This situation has only arisen on a few previous occasions. While we do not personally have any issues, we are committed to protecting our customers. Awesome! Kind service, exceptional ingredients, quality, and selection, lovely exposition of products. Unique, homemade and good looking. Prep and baking of products start while most of us are still sleeping. The banana walnut muffin tasted like banana, the pistachio muffin tasted like pistachio. Original Willy Wonka-like gourmet products.

My sincerest apologies, Marloes. Coffee preparation can be quite challenging, given the wide variety of preferences; ordering coffee can feel like learning a new language. We use higher-priced, naturally roasted Italian beans, which is more costly than many establishments are willing to afford. While the flavor is exceptional, it differs from commercial coffee shops, and I apologize for not having instant coffee available for you. Unfortunately, instant coffee is scarce unless you specifically request Sobres de descafeinado. Instant or drip coffee is rarely found outside of hotels and all-inclusive resorts. Very friendly, personable service with fabulous sausage rolls better than any large chain, excellent drinks AND environmentally friendly utensils. Great selection of food and drinks. Plenty of space outside and in. Parking available for customers only. Visited on a Sunday during market time.

Jonnie nos endulzó el día, fuimos por los buenos comentarios y aún así nos sorprendió para bien. Los productos son de calidad y cocinados con mimo diariamente. Lo visitamos para desayunar y celebrar el cumpleaños de mi hija pequeña y el dueño le hizo un bonito detalle. El decorado aporta un ambiente relajado y mágico en consonancia con el propietario, lástima que seamos de la península y no poder visitarlo a diario.

Jonniebakes is a conveniently located artisan bakery in the town of Teguise. They offer a wide selection of baked goods, it was very hard to choose! We ordered a selection of muffins and cookies which all went down very well. We were also interested to see if they were any vegan options and indeed there was! They use a vegan recipe for their scones. Also when we asked about vegan options they assured us that they could make some other bakes for the next day. Overall the service was very friendly and this seems to be a great stop for cyclists on their way around the island. I would definitely advise stopping in 😁

Aprovechando una visita al mercadillo de Teguise encontramos este local con bollería artesana que nos llamó la atención. Entramos en un local superacogedor y fuimos atendidos por el dueño con una grandísima sonrisa. Los cafés y los muffins eran un espectáculo. Riquísimo!!

I totally love this place where we go every time we are heading in to Teguise market for my cinnamon sugar rush, which is is absolutely divine! Johnny is the loveliest of hosts, always a smile and a kind word. What a shame that his sidekick coffee making guy always looks like he is having the worst day ever. The coffees are often way too hot, and the grinder not well set so the coffee isn’t that great. But Johnny makes up for it and hence deserves all the stars I can give!

Small bakery that is a gem. All home baked from loaves of bread to exciting patisseries. We were made to feel very welcome. This bakery is very popular, so you will have to queue!

This place is owned by two guys: one bakes (3.5/5) and is super cool, lovely, and nice. The other one is 0/5 skilled to deal with customers: rude and clearly hating/unhappy/not enjoying being around other human beings. It makes sense if you don’t care because your income mostly comes from people that arrive/leave etc, but if I’d live here (and I am considering it seriously) I wouldn’t come back ever again. I’m sorry for Jonnie but, honestly, I won’t remember your place as ”good food” but “terrible waiter” and this is after we told people to go to your shop, and some of our other friends had the same experience (aggressive coffee-making guy). Our experience echoes other reviews. The coffee guy makes bad coffee and while stylish, is the most unpleasant person on Lanzarote it seems. If this was an employee, they would have been fired years ago.

Hi Delila I am so sorry you had to be involved in such a, sadly, not uncommon situation. I see from your socials you've experienced similar in Turin so I'm sure you sympathise. In the age of social media, influencers, the weaponisation of digital media and of course, the rise of the "The Karen"! We are reminded by the government to be socially aware. You'll have noticed the large no photography sign when you came in I'm sure. All businesses have one, especially like us, where the space is private. Anyway, Spain has reminded us all to the dangers of snap happy photographers. It is our responsibility to protect the vulnerable and minors from ending up on digital platforms without their authority. So you can imagine how upsetting it's to have a camera shoved into customers and employees face, when they are relaxing with coffee and cake or busy working. And without the courtesy to ask first, all just because they "look cool?! I know, it's astonishing isn't it? It's most upsetting. And I'm sure you'll agree, having a stranger take your photograph without your permission. It's both rude and invasive. I think we would all question a persons motives and ask the image to be deleted, wouldn't we? Sadly it happens more each week, all across the world. Our island wide business forum allows us to share our customer experiences and you wouldn't believe the things that go on. You couldn't make a movie with some of the antics and expect cinema goers to believe it LOL Under data protection and privacy laws, Business owners on the island technically have to sign off any photos taken on their property. Anyone in the room has to also give verbal permission. Crazy but true, I guess you never know what an image will be used for. Sadly, when someone feels entitled enough to be shocked when challenged. They usually turn to social media and review sites to bite back. Can you believe it? It's crazy but it's the world we now live in. Everyone, today, seems to feel more special than those around them don't they? It is especially hurtful if they make unwarranted and judgemental assumptions on a persons character and lifestyle. I think it's called character assassination or social prejudice? I'm not 100% sure. I'm sure you'll understand what I mean, my apologies, I'm not terribly erudite in these situations. And, can you believe it, sometimes they tell us they won't be coming back. My goodness, why on earth would anyone return to somewhere where they are not welcome? I don't know, but the world is a funny place isn't it? Wishing you well and thank you for your comments on the food and coffee. I'll certainly work on those to seek improvement. I'm sorry but free parking is only for customers using the 6 businesses in the centro comercial. The owner is extremely vigilant and does use the grua to remove cars that are illegally parked. We felt it better to warn you before you went elsewhere to eat and shop 😊

Kleines Update, da wir inzwischen einige Male hier waren: bei Jonnie wurden wir immer sehr herzlich und freundlich begrüßt, Jonnie gibt einem immer das Gefühl, dass er genau für Dich das allerbeste möchte. Man spürt einfach das Herzblut, das er in seinen Laden steckt. Egal, was wir probiert haben, es ist immer super lecker, die Zimtschnecken sind unübertroffen. Ein Besuch bei Jonnie gehört für uns zum Lanzarote-Urlaub 😀 ******* Sehr lecker, super freundlich und preislich absolut fair. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und die Zimtschnecken, die Muffins und der Kaffee sind überragend gut. Wir kommen wieder, um den Rest zu probieren :-)

Thank you Shomow As we said to your friends outside. We are not really the place to queue for a coffee. Especially market day when we can easily serve 200-300 people in only a few hours. We average 4 minutes per customer. Each day I start around 01:30 to handmake all our cakes, cookies, croissant, bread and savouries. Sunday is the busiest day of the week. We are blessed to have long queues choosing our artisan products. Every customer deserves our full attention. We may have to describe each product in French, Italian, Spanish, English, German, sometimes mandarin. Sadly it can take time and I apologise for your delay. Coffee is also the single most personal thing to buy. We all have such individual tastes, I'm sorry we let you down on that. We spend a lot on our Natural Italian Roast Beans. I'm sad it wasn't to your taste. My husband was talking to your friends whilst they waited for you, please send them his regards.They were lovely to chat to and he really enjoyed their company. You cant go wrong here. This is real english baked amazing pasties. Steak bake for me, cheese and onion for my girlfriend. Photos dont do it justice, it was SO good. The pepper steak bake was just reminicent of a real pie from a local bakers back home. Its been hard not to eat the one I froze in the freezer the next day. Shared a pistachio and strawberry cream pudding to top it off. Took 4 pies (all different) away it was that good. Staff lovely, kind and polite. Will be returning 100%!!

Lovely little place for a nice coffee and bite to eat. The owners are extremely friendly. Highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area.

Nos encontramos este lugar por casualidad, ya que habíamos ido por otro motivo a Teguise. Nos sorprendió nada más entrar el trato tan agradable y lo acogedor del lugar. Pero al probar sus productos nos quedamos encantados. Sobretodo el cinamon roll (rollo de canela) que por sugerencia del dueño lo tomamos caliente, y estaba exquisito. Tuvimos que repetir!! Y por descontado que vamos a volver en cuanto podamos.

El desayuno ofrece un bizcocho delicioso y pancakes exquisitos, aunque el café tiene un sabor extraño, posiblemente debido al tipo de vasos. También se echa en falta la opción de tostadas. A pesar de ello, es una buena opción para empezar el día.

Discovered jonniebakes during our visit to Teguise Market. Everything we tried was amazing, and that is no exaggeration. The cinnamon roll with salted caramel sauce is one of the nicest things I've ever eaten, so much so we visited again 3 days later for another one. I also highly recommend the sausage rolls and the cornish pasties.

Superb bakery. Nice couple of guys who run it, homemade cakes which were all great and they even heat them up for you. Some savoury products also available, it's like a very high-end version of Greggs. Would recommend.

Echt de moeite waard om te bezoeken als je in Tequise bent. Eigenlijk zou je alleen hiervoor al naar dit dorpje moeten rijden. We werden heel vriendelijk geholpen en hebben er heerlijke broodjes gegeten. De koffie was ook heerlijk! Als we ooit nog eens naar Lanzarote gaan komen we hier zeker terug!

We planned our visit to Jonniebakes bakery first thing in the morning because we wanted to see all the products😍. When we came we were in trouble- everything looked so delicious and perfect. We took red velvet, mega chocolate and banana caramel > taste rapsody, perfection.🥰 From savoury products we took sausage roll and it was warm and tasty. Stuff is so friendly and great! We planned our days off while in Lanzarote around making it to Jonniebakes for cake, specifically the mega chocolate (a muffin), warmed up so the chocolate melts. And we bought the bread loaves, which were incredibly fresh and full of flavour. Just delicious. Only open 9am-1pm so plan your day around it!

What an absolute gem of a place in Teguise. I rolled up weary after climbing and descending Tabayesco in search of some much needed replenishments. Only one cake left, which shows how popular this place is. Great coffee and a beautiful cinnamon whirl with caramel sauce. I was met with a smile and a warm and friendly manner despite it nearly being closing time and the end of the week. Highly recommended.

Stopped by this bakery on the way to the beach to get some food for lunch. Sanwitches were nothing special, a bit chewy I would say, lot of room for improvement here. I did not try the cupcakes so I cannot judge them, but I have to say they were quite appealing. Lot of choice also. Unfortunately, as many are reporting here, we got quite an unpleasant situation with the owner/employee. We arrive there, park in their place, get our food and leave the shop. We noticed a bank 200m down the road so we profit to go withdraw some money. How long would it take? 10 minutes maximum to exagerate? While I am headed back to the park I get a phone call from the car rental warning me that somebody called them in order to remove my car asap. I arrive back at the park and the owner/employee was attaching a big stiker on the car window "no parking", when he saw me he became very aggressive and told me that next time he would call the police. I understand that there might be many people parking there to go to the center of Teguise, but please: calm down! First of all you do not put your hands on my vehicle, as I did not put mine on the window of your shop. Second, do not answer "I do not care" when I try to explain you that I left the car for 2-3 minutes to go to the bank behind the corner. edit: nono, it was you, Jonniebakes, 100% sure. Please do not try to blame it on somebody else and take full responsibility of it. It happened some time back and yes, you were taping a pieace of paper on the car window.

Edit: Gosh I feel like I’m in an episode of Hercule Poirot 😀 you admit your experience was obviously before march 2020. If parked at Jonniebakes, left the premises to buy a sandwich elsewhere. Because that’s something we do not make or sell. The closest we came to that would be the pizza focaccia we stopped making in 2019. We only make savory pastries. There are six large Parking Restriction signs and by leaving the management company view that as taking a customer parking space from the six businesses that are in the Centro commercial. Each of whom have the right to report your vehicle. The cash point does have its own car park. Please don’t be upset because someone called your hire car company to inform them that your car could be towed away and could they contact you before the grua arrived to take it away. That actually is a very considerate thing for someone to do. I’m sure if you’d asked any of the business owners we would have been ok. When the management see an unattended car on the property they act accordingly. Using cameras to monitor the time the vehicle is vacant. I’m so glad someone did call the hire company though. I can’t imagine how it would feel to come back and have your car missing. So all turned out well as you didn’t have the inconvenience or cost of retrieving your car. Warmest regards Jonnie

Where to start. After supporting this business for over 4 yrs, I visited again with a group of friends on a Sunday morning. We all decided what we wanted and I got in the queue with a friend and waited as there were 8 of us in total and it was busy with quite a long queue. About 5 mins later in stormed the tall bald one with the beard shouting aggressively who’s with them outside! I looked around and he’s looking at me. Please bear in mind I have spoken with both of the guys that run this on many occasions previously. He then started ranting and raving, shouting loudly across the shop about them outside eating food from other restaurants at his tables and that we could not order any food from them. I thought it can’t be us as I’m waiting to order it all. Then another friend came in and said dont order the food, this tall guys been really rude and abusive to us all. I looked at the owner behind the counter and said to him, is he for real. He then replied, he’s said no and shrugged his shoulders at me. I stood in total disbelief before telling them that I would never return and he can keep his food and abusive attitude. He was shouting that he doesn’t need trade from tourist with attitude. 2 points to make her. We are not tourists as they are all residents and have been many times before. Next they weren’t abusive, he was. The food that was apparently being consumed from other restaurants was a few bits of dried fruit and nuts while one of us was waiting. Not food from another restaurant at all. Even though others in the group politely tried to say that had the wrong end of the stick he would not listen. Even when being told they were all waiting for his own businesses food to come out. This guy needs putting in a cage or staying away from his partners business. Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. If you want to be verbally abused when trying to buy food then go here. I shall never darken its doorstep again. And before Jonnie comes back with the response he’s posted on trip advisor about us taking up tables and me shouting about sausage rolls. All of which aren’t true might I add. Check out all his poor reviews. They all relate back to the tall ones appalling behaviour….. and finally if any children would have been scared or offended it would have been from his behaviour and most certainly not ours.

Thank you for your review and the opportunity to reply. I do understand your anger. Unfortunately eating ones own food in another establishment is not acceptable. In such cases people usually ask if it's OK. Residents or visitors alike will be asked to leave in such situations. Eating ones own food in an establishment is simply unacceptable. But to deprive other customers of seating when they have already purchased their food is unfair. There must have been 15 customers in front of you and the two tables your party occupied meant the loss of twelve seats. So I'm sure you understand the problem. After a customer complained their family had been told to sit on the benches by one of your group. We had to ask your party to stop eating their own food or leave. It's never pleasant to have such situations but when there are a large number of customers in front of you waiting to find somewhere to sit. It is courteous to make room for others. Just as on here we have to tackle an issue if a customer makes complaints about other diners. A special thank you to the member of the group in the blue jacket that apologised to both us and the family. We appreciated that enormously. Thank you for your support in the past. No longer the best kept secret, it looks like everyone is getting to know this place. We arrived and they were queuing out the door but well worth the wait, I came across it on my last visit and they helped by sorting a muffin and a candle for my partner's birthday. I took her this time to meet the guys and have breakfast and they didn't let us down. i can't recommend them enough, even though I have to wait.

Explosion of flavors. We stopped for coffee after walking the Teguise market in Lanzarote. So glad we found this gem of a cafe. We had the orange cake/muffin, pistachio with a fruit compote which was such an unusual and surprisingly complimentary to all the flavors. The croissant was more of a bread roll but still delicious—toasted with butter would have been even more yummy.

Probably the best cakes on the planet, baked and served by the lovely Jonnie and friends. People come here from far and wide and it's easy to understand why. Particularly popular as a stop off for cyclists.Get there as early as you can because once the rush starts, stuff sells out quick! Delicious home baked loaves, amazing cakes and great hot beverages to go with it.

Exceptional. An amazing choice of pastries and really friendly owners. The apple pie and cinnamon bun were incredible (thanks for the tip to microwave the bun). The little robots of them are cool too!

De los peores lugares que he estado. Fuimos al mercadillo del domingo y de paso paramos a tomar algo. Como hacía bastante sol nos resguardamos en la acera una mesa con dos sillas, eramos 4 y cogimos 2 de dentro (dentro no había mesa) al lado nuestro se puso a fumar un inglés y nos dijo en inglés y bastante malas formas (que debíamos llevar las sillas dentro que había más lugares para sentarnos al sol) vio que no le estábamos entendiendo pero no hizo el esfuerzo de hablar en español, nosotros hicimos el esfuerzo de entenderlo. Fue bastante grosero. El café creo recordar que era 1.70€ en jn vaso de cartón y la leche condensada venía en sobres ya caducada del 08/23 en ese momento era día 3 de septiembre. Creo que hay bares por la zona mejores, la próxima desde luego allí no me pilla. Edito y contesto. Desde luego se debe estar equivocando, nosotros vimos la caducidad y simplemente la tomamos igual y no fuimos a pedir rembolso de ningún tipo, debió ser otro cliente. No me gusta tener las publicaciones publicas simplemente debería aceptar las críticas y aprender de ellas que para algo tiene un negocio público. Y no digo nada que no sea verdad, son puntos de vista diferentes. Yo aprendí lo del mobiliario (es la primera vez que me pasa, me disculpe en español quizás por eso no me entendió) y lo llevábamos adentro sin ningún tipo de problema y nos fuimos. Me hace gracia lo de las críticas de locales, ya que no vivo en la isla. Feliz día.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you chose to sit in the smoking zone and attack a customer for enjoying their cigarette. That is, however, what a smoking area is for. So such behaviour is really not acceptable. If people wish to smoke it is their choice and not yours to enforce. It was also extremely arrogant of you to take interior furniture from within the bakery so you could sit in the car park. You should always consider asking first. Your rudeness was astounding. However, thank you for pointing out that the condensed milk was 72 hours out of date. We did manage to return the items to the supplier as they were bought the day before. When your friend kindly pointed it out to us, we offered you a full refund. This was refused by your companion. It's no surprise, you forget to mention any of this in your review. Your behaviour toward a member of the public was, quite honestly, appalling and the respect of treating other people's belongings as your own shows a level of entitlement that leaves one speechless. I also note that you have your profile and all your reviews locked from view so they cannot be traced. A Highly suspicious activity in itself 🤔 However your username is associated with a number of harassment reports from other businesses on the island. Within the island site where businesses can warn each other of troublesome or suspicious customer activity.

Gran atención al detalle. Recomendable 100% Magnífico lugar para desayunar o tomar algo. Hemos ido antes de visitar el mercadillo del domingo y no había apenas nadie y se estaba muy agusto. Pedimos cupcake de tarta de zanahoria, de arándanos y de plátano natural y rollo de canela y estaba todo delicioso, destaca el de tarta de zanahoria y los rollos. Se nota a la legua que estaba todo recién hecho. Lo demás tenía una pinta de 10 . Además una cosa que parece algo sencillo, pero no siempre pasa, y es que me pusieron el café exactamente como lo pedí ( no muy caliente y corto de café). Y por último nos atendieron con mucha simpatía y educación. Cuando volvíamos del ver el mercadillo ya estaba lleno. Para mi, fue un acierto hacer la parada para desayunar a primera hora.

Fantastic place to visit, very friendly & welcoming, 5 star service from staff. Cinnamon rolls are the BEST I've ever tried and hubby had the buttercream Victoria sponge muffin which was delish too. Thank you for the experience.

Un lugar imprescindible si estas por la zona. La atencion y el lugar es genial. Probamos el rollo de canela (superjugoso y rico) y una empanada de carne y verduras (es como meter un estofado tradicional en un croisant, todo un espectaculo) Todo casero y riquisimo. Vaya masas y vaya rellenos 😍

Found this lovely bakery after attending the Teguise Market. The owner is welcoming and friendly, really makes you feel wanted and welcomed. Ordered a cinnamon bake/roll and a muffin that resembles a Victoria sponge cake. My aunt is lactose intolerant and the owner made her a cappuccino with soy milk (he was so accommodating) and she was delighted to know that the muffin she ordered had vegan cream in it so she was able to eat it. The cakes did not disappoint!!!!! One of the most luxurious and indulgent cakes I’ve ever eaten!!!! I went back to get more but it had finished 😞😞 Please support this local business when in Lanzarote, you will not be disappointed. Everything is freshly made and made with love! Next time I am back I will be going there and buying everything on the menu! One of my best food experiences on Lanzarote so far! Thank you Jonnie! ❤️

I would have dropped a star because we didn't get to sample the famous sausage rolls as they were sold out. We did however get delicious cakes and coffees and a lovely service was provided. We will try again one day! (hopefully)

El sitio es muy bonito y los dueños muy simpáticos pero los postres no me gustaron del todo. El pastel de café con nueces estaba demasiado dulce para mi gusto y el rollo de canela un poco soso. Los cafés no gustaron demasiado. No era caro, pero no lo recomendaría.

Fuimos animados por las reseñas, pero no fue lo que esperábamos. El lugar es acogedor y el hombre inglés que atiende muy simpático y atento, pero el desayuno no nos gustó. El café capuccino muy caliente y servido en vaso de papel. Nos sabía raro, no sabemos si sería por el tipo de leche o qué. Por otro lado, pedimos un pastel de café con nueces que estaba demasiado azucarado y un rollito de canela que estaba seco y no tenía sabor. El azúcar que le faltaba a uno lo tenía el otro. Así que bueno, un poco de pena porque íbamos con ganas.

Very nice place. Stayed on Lanzarote for a fortnight and visited the bakery several times. Very good coffee, tasteful bread and very nice pastries. And not in the last place, very good and friendly service. Hope we'll meet again next year!

Locale carino e staff molto disponibile, purtroppo per la colazione non abbiamo trovato molta scelta. La brioche che abbiamo preso era però molto buona

Hi Martina, thank you for your review. Sorry about the lack of breakfast options. I’m so glad you enjoyed the brioche which I make from scratch each morning. Some people do confuse us with a cafe or restaurant but we are a traditional bakery concentrating on making quality, fresh baked goods every day 😃 roughly 200-300 items across 17 sweet, savoury, breads and pastries options. Excellent! Only muffin, few breads, pastry and good coffe. Everything is home made, tasty and well done. The guys are very gentle and nice, you can tell they take care of each detail from this cute little artistic place. And brown chocolate is real chocolate!!

Hace tiempo que quería ir, solo por el cartel sin saber del interior. Dentro estás en otro lugar maravilloso. Excelente servicio y jumm, muy buena calidad, volveremos para probar otras tartas.

Ambiente molto piacevole e curato. I muffin al nostro arrivo erano tutti finiti ma abbiamo provato degli scones molto buoni appena sfornati. Dimenticavo di aggiungere che il proprietario è gentilissimo ed appassionato al suo lavoro...come si vede dalla risposta 🤗

Stopped here on a bike ride. Cakes are amazing great selection. Coffee is good. Loved the sausage roll I got too. Nice atmosphere worth calling in and trying something won't disappoint

I stopped here at the end of a bike ride. I stuffed myself with delicious home made cake and coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly. I would visit again!
