Our staff only wanted to make sure everything was in order — we care deeply about keeping our facilities clean, safe, and reserved for the correct use. There was absolutely no intention to offend you. As for the coffee, it’s always served immediately after preparation — never cold or reheated. Quality and precision are what define our work. And yes, our pastry chef is indeed a quality-obsessed professional — that’s why many of our guests visit us from all over the coast. The cake on the picture is not ours!!! Responding to a review full of lies is never easy. Our chef created a beautiful cake that everyone who saw it truly admired. It was made exactly as described—both visually and technically correct. The truth is, this review isn’t about the cake. It’s a bitter attempt at revenge after we didn’t tolerate the customer’s passive-aggressive behavior once payment was made. We’re paid to create great products, not to be bullied or treated like peasants in some toxic feudal fantasy. P.S. We’re genuinely proud of this cake—both the recipe and the decoration style. UPD. Maria, why you still updating this review every 2 weeks? Is everything ok with you? Come again to our place and we will treat you with a mint tea and have a stress releasing chat. Our previous answer is here: Good afternoon. We have 50% discount for all neighbours and you could buy this amazing sourdough organic baguette just for 1.5 EUR. Also, the flour we use is organic and supplied by local mills. We support local producers and we buy quality flour from them paying fair price. At our bakery you are getting sourdough bread made in-house using long cold fermentation. This is your decision if to buy frozen bread in Mercadona, and if to support small local business. All our prices are visible and we never hide them. You are always free to choose whether to buy highest quality food, or not.

We're the speciality coffee place with SCA certified barista. And as per the association, cappuccino is a "150-170 ml coffee and milk beverage that should produce a harmonious balance of rich, sweet milk and espresso", and that's exactly how we serve a perfect cappuccino. All our prices are also visible on the display, in our menus and even at the entrance. We never hide our prices, and it's your decision whether to order or not. We're a gourmet place with best quality possible.

While our prices reflect the quality of ingredients and craftsmanship, we do offer discounts to individuals who serve the community — including firefighters, public school teachers, police officers, and medical professionals. If this applies to you, we’re happy to recognize your contribution. Regarding your visit: you received an extra pain au chocolat as a complimentary gift due to the absence of large iced coffee lids, and the honey you simply did not buy. Perhaps this was overlooked on your end. As for the coffee spill, we’re sorry to hear that happened. However, it occurred outside our premises and was not witnessed by our staff. We remain committed to offering premium croissants, carefully selected local honey, and high-quality coffee — none of which will ever be cheap.

Entendemos que el sabor puede no ser familiar si estás acostumbrado a cafés comerciales, ya que los perfiles de este tipo de café son distintos. La temperatura a la que servimos el café cumple con los estándares oficiales de baristas, diseñada para resaltar sus características. También consideramos importante mencionar que una parte significativa del coste del café va directamente a los pequeños productores, no a grandes empresas. It was, in fact, our owner and known pastry chef, Tanya Novak, who served you—mistakenly referred to as a “waitress” in your review. Tanya is a Le Cordon Bleu graduate with experience in Michelin-starred kitchens, and she crafts each dessert with meticulous care using only the finest ingredients, including Valrhona chocolate. So yes, our pastries are priced accordingly—not for being average, but because they are made to the highest professional standards. As for the chocolate tart, it’s not vegan—and that was clearly stated. While it's true that chocolate can be made in various ways, this particular creation contains dairy. We can assure you, no coconut was involved. If you picked up that flavor, it seems more a matter of personal interpretation than anything we’ve put into our ingredients. We’re proud of what we offer and stand fully behind the quality, the price, and the service. Best of luck with your ongoing cake hunt.

Also, we have beautiful design — both inside and on the terrace. We have live piano music on Saturday and Sunday mornings. And we have a community of customers — locals and expats — who love all of this and appreciate the hard work of every member of the Art Bakery team. But you’re right again: you did not have to come, because it's "honestly not worth the trip" of yours.
