I’ve been buying bread from this store for about six months, always asking for gluten-free bread because both my child and I have a gluten intolerance. The staff repeatedly told me that the bread was gluten-free.
Recently, I checked the label and discovered that it actually contains gluten and is not safe for people with gluten intolerance. We had been eating this bread for months, trusting their word. When I went back to the store to explain what happened, the seller didn’t even apologize.
This is unacceptable and could seriously affect people’s health. Please train your staff properly and make sure that products containing gluten are not sold as gluten-free.

Superb quality breads (but you pay a premium for quality). Well worth it for us. Good rye and spelt breads are hard to find, and I enjoy their daily specials, particularly on garlic rosemary bread day. The light French music is a bonus and every staff person there has been exceedingly pleasant.

If there is a love for organic and natural and you say on your website that you do not use refined sugar, why do most of your pastries have refined white sugar powder sprinkled on them? Why don't you let people add the powder sugar by themselves if they want? We are very sensitive to refined sugar and had a very bad reaction after eating the pastries. If you really stand by what you say, be honest and leave the sugar out or add it for sugar lovers. Very disappointed that there are no companies that can leave out the sugar. Why don't you use raw honey instead.

At Pan Bendito, we do not use refined sugar in our breads. However, all our pastries (viennoiseries) do contain sugar and yeast. This is essential for achieving the proper texture, flavor, and structure that define these traditional baked goods. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to make authentic viennoiseries using honey instead of sugar, as it would significantly alter the final product.

W końcu znalazłam chleb podobny w smaku do tego co jemy w Polsce. Może nawet lepszy. Super jakość, używają maki z lokalnych upraw, robiony na miejscu. Miałam okazje porozmawiać z właścicielem - bardzo zaangażowany w idee swojego biznesu. Czy drogo? Porównując z jakością i cenami w Hiszpanii to jest to cena adekwatna. I notice a lot of the reviews state that the service here is nonexistent. However, I’m pleased to say I had the opposite experience. The gentleman who took my order was warm, friendly, and attentive.
I ordered a small loaf of sourdough and a Swedish cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun was perfectly balanced. I loved it’s soft dough like texture. I’m excited to return and try more items off the menu.

Took a long trip to find this bakery. But boy, was I disappointed. A Rye sourdough loaf for €7.50 !!.. No matter the quality this is just a joke. No loaf of bread is worth this much. I live in London and the artisan bakeries there don't even charge this and I used to work for one of them. Bread is a staple and when it is charged at these prices it is just ripping people off. And to add, I was in the store for a good 5 minutes and there were no staff...how could that be??. I could see the bread was well made and I really wanted a loaf, but I dont like being exploited. Back to making my own looks like !! :)...

Great bakery with lots of choice. Fionn kindly helped me choose a bread that was kinder to my tummy - I'm slightly intolerant to Gluten. I've suggest they start to make Guiness bread - an Irish classic that tastes incredible!
